Lake Marie

Access:  

From Coos Bay, drive on US 101 north approximately 21 miles to the access to Umpqua Lighthouse State Park.  The park is located on the west side of US 101 near Winchester Bay.  Upon entering the park, continue past the campground and follow signs to Lake Marie.  The trail starts to the west of the beach, and can also be accessed below the restrooms.

Setting and Attractions: 

The trail winds around Lake Marie with beautiful views of the serene lake.  The lake is a popular for fishing, kayaking and canoeing.  This is a charming day use area with a beach, swimming area, picnic tables and fire pits.

Trail Description: 

This is a peaceful and relaxing walk, surrounded by fir and pines.  The trail meanders around the lake with benches to sit and enjoy the view.  Dogs are permitted on leash only.
